1- Virtual Iznik Ultra Run is a running event that allows registered runners to compete and experience a sense of competition and solidarity with other participants by running on 5K, 14K, 25K, 50K, and 160K courses at any time between April 20th and May 2nd.
2- The 5K, 14K, and 25K races must be completed in one session, while the 50K distance must be completed in four stages, and the 160K distance must be covered in up to eight stages.
3- Participants can easily measure and declare their running results. For each course, a GPS-enabled smartphone or watch must be used to measure the result, and the result must be to myvirtualpace.com.
4- The Virtual Run is a virtual racing festival based on the honest and fair declarations of the participants, aiming for both sporting and spiritual development.
5- Applications must be submitted online by May 5, 2025. The runs must be completed between April 21 and May 5, 2025.
6- Results must be submitted by the evening of May 5, 2025.
7- Each participant should choose one or more virtual running races that they can complete in one session without putting too much strain on their physical health and immune system.
7a- Using a smartphone: Record your activity with one of the free apps, Strava or SportsTracker, select the activity type as 'RACE', and send the public activity link to the result page. The time taken will be entered as the race time (total time).
7b- Using a sports watch: Send the public activity link of your sports watch, such as Polar, Garmin, Suunto, Coros, etc., to the result page. The time taken will be entered as the race time (total time). Note: It is recommended to use the Iznik Course segment in Strava.
8- Participants who have read the race rules must first determine their own race while prioritizing health and safety. Anyone participating in the race agrees to make the desired measurements according to their abilities and to participate in a sportsmanlike, gentlemanly, and fair manner and to provide honest and accurate information about the race. Participants must complete the course by running, and the use of any vehicle is prohibited. The use of a vehicle will result in disqualification.
9- Those who complete the courses can obtain a digital completion certificate through MyVirtualPace.
